As soon as the weathered pebbles
Filter through their unaccustomed shoes
It's only a matter of sun and blue
Before they're ripping off the layers
Raw white unprotected epidermis
Small fight over coffee thermos
Then they lay down
Hours outside town
For that sweet kind of rest
In the single place being undressed
Is readily accepted.

How is the beach different? Why is it socially OK to wear nothing?

I don't know why it's socially acceptable, I'm guessing it's because the people who strip get all sandy and it's a kinda of karma? :D

Beautiful poem btw. :)
